Starting point
IT requirements were increasing, while cost pressure and the limited availability of suitable resources restricted the options. Internationally distributed IT delivery therefore needed to be embedded in the organization.
Our contribution
Lupus established and led a competence center. The work included assessing nearshore potential, piloting suitable initiatives and supporting the transition. In parallel, the organizational structures for collaboration were developed further.
Outcome
Within just under three years, new structures and effective nearshore initiatives were established. The client’s reference positively assessed the quality delivered.
Key takeaway
A sourcing model only works when partners, processes and internal responsibilities fit together.
Experts involved
The project involved Alexander Wittkow (Product strategy, IT sourcing & nearshoring).
